About Great Hope

In Tanzania women and children face educational, gender based and health challenges. Majority of people, find it difficult to access good health, quality education, and gender violent free environment so they opt using herbal medicine and children they opt to leave school and families. It is estimated that lack of quality education and poor health are key source of poverty. Our organization seeks funding to support people who live in villages surrounding Northern, Southern and Central part of the Country where these communities are highly affected. The Organiation further seeks to improve the situation by empowering these communities, advocating on gender based violence and raising awareness on the importance of quality education, health and clean sanitations.
Great Hope organization is registered to work in Tanzanian, to empower our community-based partners to deliver programs that provide fair and equitable access to education and economic opportunity in Tanzania.

What we do

There is a great need of changing our living condition, especially in our community, all Tanzanians have to access better education, health care and economic empowerment, our organization has decided to intervene the situation, to help people to access basic social services by providing education, raise awareness on environment management and economic empowerment.

Objectives
  1. Supporting children and youths to get quality education.
  2. Promote entrepreneurship skills and self-reliance spirit to women and youths in our community.
  3. Raise awareness on effects of early marriage and sexual transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS in the community. 
  4. Raise awareness on human rights, gender based violence and other form of abuse in the community.
  5. Empower the community on participatory planning on the different projects to overcome poverty. 
  6. Raise awareness on environmental management for sustainable development. 
  7. Advocating gender equality and gender responsiveness in the community.
