EDUCATION CENTER

This is a place where  children from needy families get education for free, youths are organized to learn more about how to start their income generating activities like entrepreneurship skills. This center also, provides different free course like tailoring, hotel management,  welding, carpentry, and masonry. These courses will help youths to be able to start their income generating activities.   

Why GHO Education project?

  1. To make enrolment in the first-grade primary school more likely for the children from Maasai community.
  2. To ensure that younger children enroll in early childhood education program
  3. To improved younger children’s ability to realize their full potential later on to complete in a more satisfactory way their Primary and Secondary education
  4. To facilitate resources to formal school-going children to achieve foundational learning outcomes such as literacy, English, numeracy and life skills
  5. To reduce illiteracy, school absenteeism and drop out within the rural population of Monduli Arusha
  6. To improve capacity and skills of the centre’s educational staff
  7. To develop creativity, emotional support, lateral thinking, artistic and athletic skills, humane values, health, and psychological and family support
  8. To encourage the practice of sport as a promoter of health and well-being by generating actions relevant to the development and promotion of values in children.

Life Skills Training for Children & Youths

Great Hope organization goes into local schools to teach of vital life skills that are often overlooked by the African school systems. We teach the children how to keep themselves and others healthy and safe. We talk about HIV, abstinence and protection from child abuse.
